You have no right to speak for Nigerians, Seun Kuti blasts Obasanjo

Just like his father, the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, who was on the neck of the military government especially when Obasanjo was a military leader, Seun Kuti, has condemned a statement of Obasanjo condemning Buhari for poor governance.

The former president had on Tuesday given several reasons Buhari should not seek re-election next year.

Seun on his Instagram page said Obasanjo who should be in jail for his corrupt practices has no right to speak for Nigerians.

He lamented the level of corruption and injustice perpetrated by military leaders without prosecution, especially the killing of Fela’s mother Funmilayo Kuti and the destroying of Kalakuta Republic.

Seun further said people who should be inside the darkest part of jail are now bold enough to speak for the people they have robbed and maimed and killed for sixty years.

He asked Obasanjo how many letters did he write to Sanni Abacha who ropped him in a coup d’état, wondering if there was justice in the land when the military top brass once ruled the country are not prosecuted.
