Mavin Singer, Ayoleyi Solomon popularly known as Reekado Banks is currently on the run for an alleged performance scam that has seen his brother who doubles as his manager Temi locked up at Kirikiri Prisons.
The artiste was said to have been paid the sum of N2 million naira to perform at a Benin wedding in December of 2017, an appointment he did not honour after collecting his fees in full.
The singer and his manager were invited to the Ogba Police Area Command, last week but only his manager showed up.
Uwa Idahosa, a Lagos based Media Personality who brokered the deal had claimed that Reekado has refused to honour the several police invitations sent to him, leading the police to arraign his brother/manager in court.
The police has described the singer to be ‘at large’, and Temi remanded in prison until the next court date on February 19th 2018.
