Abdoulaye Doucoure signs for Everton.

Everton are yet again in the transfer news and this time, they have snapped up French midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford.

Everton on Tuesday announced the signing of Doucoure on a three-year deal, which comes barely after 24 hours after they announced the signing of Colombian midfielder, James Rodriguez.

The Toffees have heeded coach Carlo Ancelotti’s call to sign midfielder Doucoure, who returns to the English Premier League after his Watford team got relegated last season. With the Hornets, Doucore made 129 Premier League appearances, with 17 goals and 11 assists.

Everton have now racked up their third signing in as many days after the arrivals of Allan and Rodriguez.

“I have been waiting a long time to come here and now it has happened, so I am very happy,” Doucoure told Everton’s official website.

“I can bring my energy – I am a powerful player, I can run a lot, all the game. I can add goals as well.

“I will try my best to score goals and help the team.”
