Nigerian veteran comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, actor and R&B singer, Seyi Shay, have been confirmed as the hosts for the 2018 Headies Awards.
The Headies will take place on May 5 at the EKO Hotels, Lagos.
Organisers of the awards, Smooth productions, unveiled the hosts of the 12th edition of the Headies were on Wednesday.
This is the second time Bovi will be hosting the awards while it’s Seyi Shay’s first attempt.
In 2015, the comedian anchored the event alongside Kafayat ‘Kaffy’ Shafau-Ameh, a dancer and choreographer.
Recall that a year prior, Bovi and Toke Makinwa were announced as hosts of the awards but Basketmouth was named a last-minute replacement for the comedian.
According to The Regular News, the artistes with the lion’s share of Headies nominations are Davido, Simi, and Wizkid.
Maleek Berry, Mayorkun and Johnny Drille were nominated for the coveted next rated category of the Headies. Also nominated are Chocolate City’s Dice Ailes and Zoro.
