Two poultry farmers keep birds – one keeps layers, the other keeps breeders. The layers and the breeders start to lay eggs at the same time. The first farmer flies up flamboyantly in happiness. He said, ” It’s hightime I started selling these eggs.” The second farmer thinks of how the eggs laid by his breeders will be turned into chicks. Months later, he didn’t only sell crates of eggs, but also hatch large numbers of these eggs. The first farmer planned for the present while the second one planned for the future.

This anecdote is a parable for every emotional rustler among guys. They rustle  the minds of innocent ladies as cattle rustlers do to herds of cattle in the North. Do you need to perform a cardiac surgery for her with series of unhealing incisions? Do you need to play a candy crush along with her when you know the heat in the kitchen cannot make you stay in there? Don’t you think it’s time you freed her mind from any fruitless expectation from your male Papaya tree? Don’t keep her egg just because of her immediate selling point.

Indeed, she cooks delicious meal for you from that ‘shipinni’  chicken-feed her ‘paleh’ or ‘maleh’ sends to her ; she washes your smelly and sweat-soaked  cloths with a view to pleasing you, still, you play along despite the fact that her cupid doesn’t shoot you for once. Don’t you think it’s time she knew about your vision-less journey before an ember becomes an uncontrollable inferno? Don’t keep her eggs because of the market demand!

Also, it should be noted that among the Yorubas, it is a taboo to go to a bread seller, price her bread and smell it with your olfactory lobe , but fail to buy the bread. If you were the bread seller, would you take that ‘sh*t?’ Guys, wake up! It is not pride or success to always ‘smell the Aroma’ of different species of ladies ; rather, it is a curse and falling off the tree of ‘Qodaric’ spirituality. Are these souls seriously affected by your magnetic field, but your magnet repels theirs? Why don’t you let them know now before their magnets fail to attract any like-field again? Lay off their minds ; let them patronise a better and fruitful market of golden commodities.

” My sweetheart, my butterfly, my Cinderella, my crown, Adé mi, İfé mi, Ęyinjú mi, Ayé mi, My Queen, D1ILWM@(The one I love with my heart, lol), my love and my gbogbo è ” you call her often, but deep inside the stream of your heart, she is not worth the display of a housefly ; ògá, you are fake! Stop the pretence and free her flexible mind from hallucination and dazzling mirage. That green light of many opportunities are still on.

In a nutshell, when her mind smiles as a result of your fake smile, don’t turn her faithful smile fake, since you know that your fake smile will never put an everlasting smile she desires, on her face. You! Yes, you! I mean you naani! Will you now stop that fake smile and turn a new leaf?

Amazon is buying smart doorbell maker Ring, a deal that will allow the company to expand its home security and in-house delivery services.

Ring’s spokesperson confirmed the deal, saying: “We’ll be able to achieve even more by partnering with an inventive, customer-centric company like Amazon. We look forward to being a part of the Amazon team as we work toward our vision for safer neighborhoods.”
Amazon is expected to keep Ring as an independent business, much like it has with its other acquisitions, like Zappos and Twitch, according to GeekWire, which earlier reported details of the deal.
Financial details of the move were not disclosed, but Reuters reported it could be worth more than $1 billion, making it one of the largest acquisitions in Amazon’s history.
Amazon’s spokesperson also confirmed the deal, saying: “Ring’s home security products and services have delighted customers since day one. We’re excited to work with this talented team.”
Amazon has been making moves to get into the home security space lately. It partnered with lock manufacturers Kwikset and Yale for its new in-home delivery service, Amazon Key, and recently acquired smart camera maker Blink.
Ring has raised $443.9 million so far, and was last valued at $760 million, according to Pitchbook.
This isn’t the first time Amazon has partnered with Ring. The e-commerce company previously invested in Ring through its Alexa Fund, which exclusively invests in companies that help scale its Alexa voice technology.
Earlier, Ring CEO Jamie Siminoff described his relationship with Amazon and the Alexa Fund as “nuclear power,” in reference to the company’s potential to both help and destroy your business.

The Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has called on corporate organizations, philanthropists and well meaning Nigerians not to hesitate in contributing their quota to curbing the menace of drug abuse in the state.

Speaking at the launch of Campaign Against Drug Abuse and Misuse held in Alimosho Local Government Secretariat on Tuesday 27th of February 2018, the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Agboola Dabiri stated that the issue of youth involvement in drugs and drug addiction is a global problem and deserves the attention of all stakeholders.
According to Agboola, the ugly situation has gotten to an extent to which no one can claim ignorance of what is happening, adding that the act has permeated into primary schools.
The Commisioner who was represented by Director of Rehabilitation in the ministry, Mr Ajao Olabode, however decried that certain personalities from all spheres of life that are expected to be role models and mentors to the youths , openly engage in indecent act, setting bad examples to the young adults who ignorantly look up to them for their social, educational, political and moral developments.

His words, “The impact of the increasing rate of drug and alcohol abuse among young people in the state is worrisome and its devastating effects on our moral and value system cannot be overemphasized. The abuse of common drugs such as codeine, tramadol just to mention but a few and the use of hard drugs like marijuana is now a common sight in the nooks and crannies of our cities; motor parks, street corners, recreation centers, schools, uncompleted building etc.
“Government at all levels have tried to curtail, eradicate  or discourage the use , sale and trafficking of illegal drugs through the promulgation of decrees and enactment of laws. For instance, there are Anti-narcotic laws being enforced by the NDLEA, the dangerous Drug Act and ban on smoking in public places and the efforts of the National Agency for Food, drugs, Administration and Control towards tackling importation and sales of expired and other illicit drugs; unfortunately the situation seems to be getting worse.
He, however, commended the campaign describing it as a welcome development. He further stated that the development is in line with the Lagos State Government Policy Initiative on Private and Public Partnership (PPP) in solving the economic and social challenges facing the society and mankind as a whole.
The immediate past national chairman of the Association of Lady Pharmacists, Chief Yetunde Morohundiya,

who was also a guest speaker at the occasion charged parents on the need to live up to their responsibilities in taking good care of their children.
She also urged pharmacists to desist from indulging the youths who patronise them in demand of the common drugs they abuse.
She however declared that the Association would do all within its capacity to stem the tide of Drug Abuse in the state and the country as a whole.
On his part, the initiator of the campaign, Dayo Oyewo, said the idea of CADAM was informed by the enormity of substance abuse among youths in the state.

He said the campaign seeks to address the root cause of the worrisome trend of drug abuse as it pertains to the adolescents who are the most vulnerable at such a time like this.

He said, “Beyond folding our arms and shaking our heads in pity of youths who are on treading the path of ruining their future as a result of substance abuse, we deemed it necessary and important to take a bold step of initiating a campaign that will address the social problem.
“As the theme of CADAM connotes (Preserving the Future) we have projected what is most likely to be the outcome of this menace in years to come hence the need to rise to the occasion by averting an avoidable disaster.
Speaking on the collaboration with Association of Lady Pharmacists in Lagos State, Oyewo stated that the need to initiate ties with other concerned bodies for such humongous task cannot be overemphasized.
He said Insight Initiatives, a platform under which the project is being executed is saddled with the task of providing services that complement conventional efforts to solving the myriads of social problems that abound in the society.

Hiiiii fam!!! Merry Sunday people! I hope you all had wonderful times in the presence of God? I sure did. Do have a blessed weekend ahead..

On another note, please pray for my network people! The struggle is real. I haven’t able to make as much posts as i would have loved to but I’ll survive.

This post is on making a moisturizing hair spray. This is mostly for those on natural hair. We are currently in the dry season and the weather can be hot! This also strips the hair of moisture. It’s essential that we return moisture to our hair and one of such ways is by using this moisturizing hair spray. This DIY is very simple and it won’t take so much of your time. I used a combination of all the oils i have so it’s not compulsory that all the oils i list are used. Use what you have. You also add an essential oil like rosemary oil, tea tree oil, etc but it’s totally optional.

Items Needed

  • Spray bottle
  • Water
  • Olive oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Amla oil
  • Carrot oil
  • Castor oil
  • Essential oil (optional)

  • Pour water into a spray bottle.
  • Add the oils into the bottle.
  • Shake together and spray on hair.

Please do note that you should not spray the hair to the extent that it’s dripping wet. You can carry the spray bottle in your bag and spread at intervals during the day. You also have to shake the bottle before spraying so that the oils can mix with the water.

I’ll be doing a lenght check in my next post…. and head on to my reviews section for another “In Death” series book. Ta-ra!
