DIY | Moisturizing Hair Spray

Hiiiii fam!!! Merry Sunday people! I hope you all had wonderful times in the presence of God? I sure did. Do have a blessed weekend ahead..

On another note, please pray for my network people! The struggle is real. I haven’t able to make as much posts as i would have loved to but I’ll survive.

This post is on making a moisturizing hair spray. This is mostly for those on natural hair. We are currently in the dry season and the weather can be hot! This also strips the hair of moisture. It’s essential that we return moisture to our hair and one of such ways is by using this moisturizing hair spray. This DIY is very simple and it won’t take so much of your time. I used a combination of all the oils i have so it’s not compulsory that all the oils i list are used. Use what you have. You also add an essential oil like rosemary oil, tea tree oil, etc but it’s totally optional.

Items Needed

  • Spray bottle
  • Water
  • Olive oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Amla oil
  • Carrot oil
  • Castor oil
  • Essential oil (optional)

Directions

  • Pour water into a spray bottle.
  • Add the oils into the bottle.
  • Shake together and spray on hair.

Please do note that you should not spray the hair to the extent that it’s dripping wet. You can carry the spray bottle in your bag and spread at intervals during the day. You also have to shake the bottle before spraying so that the oils can mix with the water.

I’ll be doing a lenght check in my next post…. and head on to my reviews section for another “In Death” series book. Ta-ra!
