Face Of Western Nigeria rounds off Skills Acquisition Program with 2018 winners

The Face Of Western Nigeria Pageant has completed its 5 Saturdays skills acquisition program with 2018 winners of the pageant last Saturday.

The convener, Queen Eniola Christabel, who is currently working hard through the Pageant and aim to promote skills acquisition and basic education in her society in other to rescue unemployment because as everyone cannot get a white collar job.

Face of western Nigeria Team with the 2018 winners started the skills acquisition program tagged “The Future Is Now” by training participants in various fields wich includes, Make up, Small chops, Cocktails, Pasteries, Hairmaking, Music among others.

The 5 Saturdays skills acquisition program started on 12th January, 2019 with the teenagers & youths at Jesus Children Mission Outreach Bodija.

Speaking with The Regular News on the success of the project,  Christabel, said “FWN team is so grateful for the impact we, have made in trying to reduce unemployment and make youth independent by understanding the importance of acquiring a skill or more.

“The experience wasn’t so challenging like we thought, though there was financial issues. Our 1st princess decided to take care of the hair making class as she is a professional hairdresser, alongside with support from our other winners .

“Simply Precious Cakes and Decorations has been our support right from day one. The CEO sent her staffs to come and train participants on small chops. Posh brand gave the trainees a beautiful tutorial,” she added.

She furthered commended Mr Abaopo Olalekan Oluwaseunayo of Babalonse Youth Development Foundation for gifting the Best Trainees with cash prizes and equipment.
