Nigerian Afro singers, Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy dominated the nominations list in the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.
Wizkid is the most nominated artiste in most categories including Best Male MVP, Best Pop, Best Collaboration, Digital artiste of the year, Video of the year, Listeners’ choice, Viewers’ choice and African artiste of the year categories.
Nigerian artistes: Davido and Burna Boy are close behind with several nominations including the coveted African artiste of the year alongside Diamond Platnumz, Sarkodie, Yemi Alade, South African rappers – A.K.A, Nasty C and Tiwa Savage.
This is the 3rd edition of the SoundCity MVP Awards Festival and it is expected to hold on January 5, 2019 at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
