The Federal Government has announced that NECO will commence on October 5 and ends on November 18, 2020.
This was announced by the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Emeka Nwajiuba after a two-day meeting with chief Executives of examinations in the country.
In a statement released on Wednesday, July 29, the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Goong said the Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE will start on August 24 and end September 7 while the National Common Entrance Examination, NCEE into Unity Colleges will hold on October 17, 2029.
The statement said the ongoing NECO registration will end on September 10 without any further extension.
The statement also read that the National Business Technical Examination Board, NABTEB will start on September 21 and end October 15, 2020.
