Hiiii fam! Good afternoon. I’m so sorry i haven’t been able to update you on anything this past week. I’ve been really really busy. I didn’t really have time but i promise i’d keep up. 😊😊😊

Today, I’ll be reviewing a foundation that I’ve been using for the past two years and it has been part of my holy grail ever since. It’s the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in several Shades

According to what i read, Maybelline New York is a subsidiary of L’Oreal. L’Oreal is also a cosmetics brand. They have several types of products but “Fit Me!” is a particular product category – Foundations, Powders, Blush and Concealer. The Matte + Poreless foundation is for Normal to Oily skin. There is also the Dewy + Smooth foundation for Normal to Dry skin.

Maybelline Dewy + Smooth and Matte + Poreless Foundations

The Matte + Poreless Foundation has 40 shades to match every skin tone possible. It’s also still possible to mix two foundation shades to get your particular skin tone.

According to Maybelline’s website, “This lightweight foundation mattifies and refines pores and leaves a natural, seamless finish. Ideal for normal to oily skin, our exclusive matte foundation formula features micro-powders to control shine and blur pores. Pore minimizing foundation. Dermatologist tested. Allergy tested. Non-comedogenic.” It also rates an average of 4.4 for Overall Customer Ratings and 3.9 for Quality of Product on the website.

I’ve been using the foundation in ” 355 Coconut ” but since there is a slightly darker shade now i will be buying ” 356 Warm Coconut ” once this bottle is exhausted.

The foundation is truly lightweight and it gives a very natural, seamless finish. Since its lightweight, you can choose to have a light coverage or build it up to a heavy coverage as the mood fits. I don’t really have large pores so i can’t really say much about it minimizing pores. It definitely controls shine but it doesn’t really last so long for me because i have really oily skin like i said before. ( Oh, i should mention that i basically have sensitive skin but i identify mostly with “oily”). I haven’t had any skin reactions whatsoever to the product.

Overall, i would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has oily skin. It gives a very flawless finish and it’s also affordable. It ranges from #5,000 – #6,000.

Give it a trial. You’d love the result. Head on to my Reviews Section in a bit for my very first book review. Ta-ra! 😚😚😚
