Peter Okoye of the singing duo of Psquare has once again dashed the hopes of ‘Psquare Supporters’ with his intention to dump the music group but this time with reasonable intention.
Many have said his intention is in a bid to achieve his dream as a ‘solo artist’.
Peter had last week unveiled his own You tube channel while referring to himself as Mr. P, the stage name he uses as a solo artiste.
Peter had reportedly written a letter to their lawyer, Festus Keyamo seeking the termination of the Psquare contract.
The letter dated, September 21 has now surfaced online, Peter is asking for a dissolution of the group; claiming a threat to his wife and children’s lives.
The letter reads: ‘What I am about to do has been a very difficult decision to make. I have decided to use this medium to terminate the agreement between Psquare.’
Peter further said ‘Me and my wife have been getting life threatening messages and I fear for my life and the life of my family. Remember Jude has threatened to kill me and shoot my wife in the presence of Paul and Mrs Imoke…’
Jude also allegedly threatened to have a coffin for him if he attempted coming close to his house.
Peter, in the letter, reportedly said he had had enough. He loves and wishes his brothers well in their respective careers.
