Nigeria’s Coronavirus death toll has hit 744, as the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 595 fresh cases of the deadly virus on Monday.

According to the NCDC, 20 deaths were recorded on Monday, taking the total deaths so far to 744.

Also, with the 595 new cases, Nigeria’s total coronavirus infections stand at 33,153, with 13,671 recoveries recorded nationwide.

In Monday’s reported new cases, Lagos leads with 156 infections, following closely by Oyo, with 141 fresh cases, just as Abuja records 99 cases and Edo, 47 cases.

While Kaduna rakes in 27 cases, Ondo ramps up 22 cases and Rivers, 20 cases. Osun, 17 Imo, 13, Plateau  10. Nassaraw and Anambra record 8 cases each.

Others are: Kano-5, Benue-5, Borno-5, Ogun-4, Taraba-3, Gombe-3, Kebbi-1 and Cross Rivers-1.
