Miss Iwoland 2018, Queen Damilola Ogunwale has congratulated the Oluwo of Iwoland, H.I.M Oba (Dr.) Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, on the victory of his newly elected sons, Engineer, Adelere Oriolowo and Honourable, Yinusa Amobi who emerged as Osun West Senator Elect and (Member)House Representative respectively for Iwo Federal Constituency in the February 23rd General Elections.
The reigning beauty queen and face of Iwoland youth described the first class paramount ruler as a catalyst to success and an agent of progress that his good will is propelling his sons and daughters to a God and people’s driven accomplishment.
She therefore called on the new representatives to use their new platforms to better the lives of their constituency with a focus on educating the girl child and youths in general like the monarch.
Also, in high spirit; she admonished the locals to harmonize their differences and not allow politics separate their collective goals which is to impact lives.
The representatives won under the platform of All Progressive Congress to represent Osun West.
