Nigeria Super Eagles and Arsenal FC playmaker Alex Iwobi among other Nigeria players across the world took to social media to celebrate the country’s 58th Independence day anniversary.
Using the Official Arsenal FC twitter account Alex Iwobi made it known how his family reacts whenever Nigeria is playing regardless of the time.
“In Nigeria football to me is the best word,Whenever Nigeria are playing,my family are always singing along, dancing and eating traditional Nigerian food. We’ve got our shirts on. It’s like we’re at the game. They sing and dance overnight even when it’s halftime and the match is on.”
The Nigeria International also express how passionate and proud he his whenever he’s call upon to represent the country.
“It’s so great to be playing passionate football.I am Nigeria Nigeria is in me I share the blood, my family are Nigerians. I am always happy to play my part and whenever I am called to represent my country I always do my best and try to make them proud “
