Popular comedian and skit maker Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni has revealed why he is always putting on native attire, ‘Agbada’, the signature dress he is known for in his comedy skit videos.

A fan named Emmy Plug, had asked “what brought up the issue of agbada in your skit? @mrmacaronii”

According to him, it all dated back to 2019 when he got frustrated and depressed from not getting any acting roles, then he started trying different characters until he gutted the Jackpot with wearing Agbada.

“Omo.. I didn’t know what I was doing then ooo.. late 2019. I was just frustrated, tired and depressed from not getting roles. I was trying different characters and posting online. One day, I carried that Agbada and did a video. And boom,” he tweeted.

The universities he attended include; LeadCity University, Houdegbe North American University, Cotonou; Afe Babalola University and Redeemer’s University.

He tweeted, “I went to 4 Universities. I gained admission into LeadCity University in 2009. I was studying law at the time. In 200L, our school had accreditation issues, we started to protest, things got hot. I had to leave the school. Lol. I miss City sha. Sweet school like this.”

One of his fans also urged the activist to participate in the forthcoming presidential elections as a fan promised to crowdfund his campaign.

But Mr Macaroni said he is not interested in contesting.

“Sound Sultan sang: “I want to be like Moses…. Show my people dem to the promise land… but then I notice something… the people wey try am don dey underground….”. he wrote.

When another of his fans asked, if he is considering getting married anytime soon, Macaroni responded thus: “Nooooooooo!!!! Marriage scares me. I haven’t been in a relationship since my time in HNAUB… That’s like 2011-2012.”
