Nigerian music star Wizkid beats Davido,Techno,Runtown, among others to claim All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) best male Artist in Western Africa 2017 on November 12 in Lagos.
Wizkid won the award with is popular song ‘come closer’ featuring Drake, to beat Davido ‘Fall’ , Rundown ‘Mad over you’ , Ycee ‘Juice featuring Maleek Berry’ ,Mr Eazi ‘Leg Over’, Sarkodie ‘Painkiller’ (Ghana), MHD(Guinea), DJ Arafat ( Ivory Coast).
Meanwhile Tiwa Savage also claim best female artist in western Africa, with her popular vibe ‘All over’ over the likes of Seyi Seyi, Becca, Yemi Alade, Aramide.Viviane Chidid(Senegal) Oumo Sangare(Mali) Zeynab (Benin Republic)
