Real Madrid have known who they could face in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup following Monday’s play-off draw.

The Blancos will enter the tournament at the semi-final stage following their Champions League success in June

Real Madrid is left with the possibility of facing the winner of this year’s Asian Champions League or one of Al-Jazira FC  and Auckland City FC.

United Arab Emirates side Al-Jazira FC, who qualified as host representatives, take on Auckland City FC with the victor set to meet the Asian Champions League winners in the quarter-finals.

The winner of the tie will then lock horns with the European champions, who are aiming to win their second straight FIFA Club World Cup.

Elsewhere, Pachuca will face the CAF Champions League holders with the winner of that tie set to take on the 2017 Copa Libertadores champions in the other semi-final.
