In furtherance of his consultation across board and to establish the genuineness of his campaign to rescue the state from its current economic quagmire and crippled leadership, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (OBA), leading gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Nigeria, earlier met with Ondo state indigenes in South Africa represented by Prince Debo Adesina, a Security Expert at Al-amin Consultants and the Vice Chairman PDP Diaspora in South Africa, where he was lauded for identifying with everyone including Indigenes and party members in diaspora.
In a similar move, the governorship aspirant met with stakeholders of Nigerian American Group for Democratic Support (NAGDS) led by its Vice Chairman, Mr. Ibukun Akingbuwa, Otunba Akingboye in South Africa on Saturday, June 15, 2019, explained that the group found Otunba Akingboye worthy of their support, describing him as the best choice for Ondo State Governor come 2020.
Widening his consultation among Ondo State indigenes in diaspora, Otunba Akingboye, also met with over 35 countries’s ambassadors and representatives to the United Nations in South Africa on Sunday, June 16, 2019.
Among those at the meeting were: Costa Nicolau, H. E Andrien Kouambo J. of Republic of Cameroon, Alexander D. Sidoruk of Republic of Belarus among others.
Akingboye driven by the zeal for a purposeful leadership believes in the idea of transforming the state through exploring the potentials in developed countries and replicating such in Ondo State.
The ambassadors extolled Akingboye over his unprecedented accomplishments in the private sector and are convinced beyond reasonable doubt in his ability to pilot the affairs of the state if elected.
They described Akingboye as the architect of modern Ondo State and an embodiment of great ideas capable of putting the state on good footing of practicable governance.
Having believed in his mission to #RebuildOndoState, the ambassadors in their large numbers endorsed the candidature of Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, while promising to contribute their quota towards his success at the polls.
They also assured Otunba Akingboye of their readiness to mobilize for an-all-round development by deploying their expertise into transforming and building the state to a world-class infrastructure if elected as governor.
It was also part of their resolve to contribute to the expansion of the economic base of the state by identifying viable potentials to tap into with solidified readiness to partner with local producers for the export promotion of indigenous produce.
Streamlining action against poverty, insecurity and ameliorating the suffering of Ondo people, the ambassadors promised adequate support for the state, should Otunba Akingboye emerge as governor.
